It's a bird, it's a plane, oh wait...it's a grey hair!

Good Morning or shall I say what a morning it is,

It is 9:00 am, and I have experienced quite the event. I woke up, late I might add, and thought today would be an average day. It's nice and sunny outside, I was considering asking all my friends to go to a park for a wiener roast later tonight, you know, the usual. I showered, got dressed, did my make-up, and was about to start the let's-go-curly-hair-today-venture when I saw it. The most horrific thing I could ever lay eyes on.

A grey hair.

I know I know, some of you may be thinking, "a grey hair big, whoop-ie", or "hey, I've got lots of those on my head", or how about the classic "That's what hair dye is for". But ladies and gentlemen, let me assure you, this is no easy fix. Right before my eyes, staring at me in the mirror, this hair was mocking at me: Laughing in my face! In exactly twenty days is my twenty-first birthday. It has finally hit me. I'm getting old. All those back pains, lack of energy, "let's go to bed" when it's only 9:00pm, need for coffee to keep me awake during the day, getting tired after running around with a little kid for five minutes, that silver hair threw all those denial thoughts into my face.

Sigh, goodbye youth. Goodbye energy. We had a good time, it was a good run. I will hold on to those happy memories... tear.

Here is said hair. I know it looks like it's on a very speckly arm or something, but that is my counter! And I know you can hardly see the grey root, that's how white it is!!!
On a happier note, I walked to my bus stop, and noticed this very amusing picture:
I felt very stealth when I took it. Don't you just love the tiny man purse! Oh I hope that boy and his bag have an extraordinary Monday!!
Happy Monday friends and family,
xo
