One Week!

Good Morning dearest friends and family of mine,

I hope you are all doing swell on this lovely Wednesday morning. It's really bright outside here! Almost blinding! That is definitely something I am not used to yet, is the bright nights and early mornings. This is the most summer I've experienced I think? Unless it was like this in Fort Nelson and I just can't remember... I'm for sure bringing a face mask to sleep with when I come back! Ha, I've already started to make a list! I brought ONE elastic. Can you believe that? And two other girls said they did too! What were we thinking!!!! Insanity I tell ya, insanity!

So, I'll fill you in on some new characters in my little box of a life and some drama. Oh there is always drama!

So we've merged with the Summer Students from the first batch. So:

There is Savanna, from Medicine Hat (extremely loud, talks 24/7, updates her facebook status every 5 minutes... literally. That is not a joke LOL, hates being away from home so is officially gone. Unless she can't find work, then she's back. Let's hope she's gone. I love hanging out with her just because she is entertaining and I love watching every one's face when she goes "Okay, so I have another story about that, sorry the colour of the wall just totally reminded me. So, okay!").

Kim: She is from Edmonton, is taking photography at NAIT, is really fun and spunky. I like her. Except dearest Sheldon loves her too, so I have competition on who hangs out with him. Muahahahaah. That is my own created drama, which really doesn't exist, lol, but maybe a little. hee hee.

Michelle: She's from Ontario, and was here last year, told me she was able to save $10,000 last summer. That is my motivation when I get down here ahahahaha. She's spunky too.

Megan: She is from Ontario also, and is very sweet and quiet. She is going to school at the Uni of Victoria though, so she's been out West for a while anyways. She hangs out with Michelle all the time, and then Kim. The three were always together. Now Kim and Savanna have left for their turn arounds, note, as stated before Savanna may not return, but Kim will!

Ethan: He is also from Ontario (I don't know how these kids do it! I'd have been terrified if I lived in Ontario coming here!!!). He must have been in a car accident because he has a few scars on his face, and his arm is messed up. I haven't gotten a full view, but Sheldon said that he saw and his fingers are just like...stubbies or something? He is pretty laid back...he hangs out with Chris who I will explain in a moment. They had Ethan and Chris on night duty waxing the floors, and then just one day switched them. She they are trying to get on a new routine. You just never know around here....

Chris: He is a tall black guy from Toronto who lives in Edmonton because he got a scholarship to go to NAIT. Pretty much, he is a typical Toronto boy, and from what I've gotten out of him, all he likes to do in general is play basketball. I told him he needs new hobbies, and he complained about all of the places in Canada saying he doesn't wanna stay in TO, but he hates Edmonton, won't go to Calgary or Vancouver. So I told him it sounds like he is "too big for Canada". Pfft, cocky men, can't stand em! But they areeee intriguing...muahahaha.

Evelyn: I don't really know her at all. She's prob late 30s, native lady, keeps to herself. Was supposed to be in the kitchen because she needs the hours for her schooling for culinary but won't speak up about it? It doesn't make any sense, I am confused LOL. I'd be like demanding the hours lol.

These are all the students that I know, there are a lot more but they are kitchen staff, so I don't know them, or they are on turn around already! So I may meet them today?

My shift had changed from 7-3:30 to now 9:30-6. So that is kinda nice in the fact it won't feel like there is sooo much extra time to do nothing! It sounds like a longer day, but it's not, so just something to get used to, that's all! :)

I better get ready, gotta get down to work!
