Love

What is love!? Is it "that can't-eat, can't- sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, world-series kind of stuff"? Or the constants butterflies in your stomach and sweaty palms? Or is it the opposite where you are so comfortable that you don't get nervous, you can be yourself? Is it that moment when you realize “I just farted in front of this person and they didn't throw me out of the car”? Is it not pressuring a person to talk when they need to be alone? Is it knowing all the little things a person likes and dislikes? Is it accepting the flaws in a person, or what you would consider a flaw? Is it a mix of attraction and lust? Is it accepting a person’s family, traditions and culture? Is it a mix of fate and destiny, where you don’t have any control over it; you can’t choose who you love and don’t love it just ‘happens’? Or you just constantly have to remind yourself “I love this person I love this person I love this person”? A constant choice?

It’s interesting that the one thing ever human being is created to do, and longs for, is one of the most complex things to think about.

Thinking me,
xo
