A few quotes:

Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Ooh I like quotes, here's one I came across last month:

"If you're going to risk and maybe fail, fail at something that matters. Fail gloriously so that even in failure, lives change."
-John Acuff

That's a really good one!! Can you imagine saying something and having people quote it over and over again over the years. Such a crazy concept to me.

It depends on the context, if somebody just randomly took something I said in a conversation and it became a widely known quote over the years then yes, that is absolutely crazy. However if I publish something, whether it be a book, a song lyric, a journal entry, even a blog then what is said is there for posterity and is intended to have some sort of meaning attached to it which gives value to its quotability.

I agree, but I still think it would be crazy to have said/written whatever something, and it be quoted for years to come. Just my personal opinion.
